There are 3 flights available from Kuala Lumpur to Sorong serve by 2 airlines, Garuda Indonesia and Malaysia Airlines. The earliest flight is at 12:50 PM by Garuda Indonesia with one stop in Cengkareng Airport, Jakarta. This flight takes about 16 hours 45 minutes before you arrive in Sorong.

The next flight is at 4:10 PM by Malaysia Airlines and Garuda Indonesia. These flights also have one stop in Cengkareng and take around 13 hours 25 minutes to arrive in Sorong. The last flight is Garuda Indonesia that departs at 6:15 PM with two stops at Denpasar and Cengkareng. It takes around 11 hours 20 minutes trip to Sorong.

  • Penang (PEN)

There are several airlines that serve flights from Penang to Sorong, but the best flight is Lion and Batik Air that departs at 6:50 PM and will arrive around 1:05 PM. It has 3 stops at Medan, Cengkareng, and Ujung Pandang but at a relatively cheaper price.

There are three airlines serving flights from Kota Kinabalu to Sorong, they are China Southern, Garuda Indonesia, and Saudia. These flights take 26 hours 15 minutes to Sorong that fly from China. But it cost quite expensive to fly from this airport.

  • Johor Bahru (JHB)

Malaysia Airlines and Garuda Indonesia serve flights from Johor Baru to Sorong. These airlines depart at 4:10 PM with 2 stops in Kuala Lumpur and Cengkareng. However, it takes 36 hours 25 minutes before you can arrive in Sorong.

Meanwhile, there is no airline serving from Langkawi Airport to Sorong.

How to Get to Raja Ampat from Sorong
